ACACIA'S STORY - Acacia was just a baby when she received a small bowel, liver and pancreas transplant in 2003 from total strangers. Her mother Hailey said "They had the power of life, and they gave it to her. And thanks to them, I have Acacia." Acacia and her family reside in Chappaqua, NY in Westchester County.
RACHEL'S STORY - Rachel has Cystic Fibrosis and received a double lung transplant. She thanks her donor every day for taking a split second to make the decision to sign up in the New York State Donate Life Organ and Tissue Donor Registry. Rachel is from Cheektowaga, NY in Erie County.
