The New York Alliance for Donation is dedicated to increasing organ and tissue donation throughout the State by enhancing awareness through education, outreach and evaluation which emphasizes the needs and benefits of donation and transplantation for all people.
An educational program for funeral directors on organ and tissue donation was developed by the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF) an Affiliate Member of the New York Alliance for Donation. Copies of this program are available to all New York State Funeral Homes. This project is supported by a contract with the New York State Department of Health.
